Gates of Olympus demo and game guide
Original Gates of Olympus · Independent reference · Provider-hosted demo
Concerned about gambling? Find practical help and support.
This page covers the original Gates of Olympus. Use the provider link to visit its demo page, or read the guide to understand the winning system and the role of multiplier symbols.
The important distinction is between symbols that create a qualifying win and symbols that modify a qualifying amount. Matching symbols are evaluated across the grid; a multiplier has a separate function under the rules.
This is reference information for adults aged 18 or over. Pragmatic Wiki is independent of Pragmatic Play, does not host the game and does not accept wagers or deposits.
Use the complete name shown here. Similar artwork, shared characters and a family name do not establish identical rules.

Availability and features can vary by location or version. This page does not promise registration-free or unlimited access. If access is restricted, follow the destination’s message; the directory does not bypass regional or age requirements.
Pay-anywhere wins and tumbling reels
A qualifying group consists of at least eight matching symbols anywhere on the grid. They do not have to form an adjacent cluster or follow a drawn payline. After a win, the matching symbols are removed and replacements can produce another combination.
When reading a demo result, separate the individual symbol awards from the complete tumble sequence. Several displayed events can belong to one paid spin; they are not necessarily separate stakes or independent bonus rounds.

Multiplier symbols and the free-spins feature
The original edition can display multiplier symbols up to 500×. Four or more scatters trigger fifteen free spins. During that feature, a multiplier appearing on a winning spin can contribute to a running total before it is applied to the qualifying win.
The useful question is what persists: a symbol on the grid, a value for the current sequence, or a total across a feature. Do not assume that a value displayed in one context applies to every later win. Use the information screen for the precise calculation.

Original Gates of Olympus versus 1000 and 2500
Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Gates of Olympus 2500 are distinct editions. This article and its demo link identify the original. The titles with a number should not be substituted when comparing rules or activity data.
The number in a title is not an RTP percentage or a guaranteed outcome. Start with the complete name, then compare the multiplier rules, free-spins modes and configuration. The homepage family comparison provides an overview of these distinctions.
To compare the original with a release that has several bonus modes, read the Gates of Olympus 2500 guide.
For the edition with an additional feature-trigger award, see Gates of Olympus Super Scatter.
To compare the Greek theme with a fixed-payline game and expanding wilds, read Zeus vs Hades – Gods of War. Its Olympus mode is not the Gates of Olympus game.

RTP, demo settings and configuration
RTP describes a theoretical long-term ratio of prizes to stakes. It is not a prediction for an individual session. A demo illustrates the version available in that environment; it does not prove that every operator uses the same configuration.
This guide does not assign one RTP to every configuration. Any operator-listing value is attributed to its source. Read the actual RTP in the information screen of the version being discussed, and record the full title and any active options before comparing figures.
Virtual-credit results are not withdrawable money and do not demonstrate a reliable strategy for future real-money play. Understanding a feature explains its operation without removing the chance of losing money.
For the broader explanation, see RTP and volatility and how to read a paytable.
